This policy explains what personal information NextSec collects when you use nextsec.in, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and your password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at NextSec can read it.
- Orders: what you bought, the amounts, tax, dates, and your wallet balance.
- Payment reference: only the last 4 digits of the card you paid with. Your full card number, expiry date and CVV are never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Verification codes: one-time codes for email verification and password resets, stored as hashes and deleted once used or after 10 minutes.
How we use it
- To run your account and deliver what you buy.
- To send you verification codes, password reset codes and invoices by email. We do not send marketing emails.
- To keep the records needed for tax and accounting.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forged requests. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is handled by these services only as needed to run the site:
- Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger), which stores the site and delivers our emails.
- Content networks that serve the site's fonts, styles and scripts (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs and Tailwind CSS). They receive your IP address when your browser loads these files.
- Government authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account exists. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires, even if you close your account.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing support@nextsec.in from your registered email address.
Security
Passwords and verification codes are hashed, all database queries are parameterised, and forms are protected against cross-site request forgery. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use anywhere else.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
